👋👋👋 Hello, hello!
I'm Hoa Nguyen, currently a Postdoctoral Researcher in the C2 (Cybersecurity and Cryptography) team at Télécom Paris, Institut Polytechnique de Paris, working with Qingju Wang. My current research focuses on the design and evaluation of lightweight cryptographic primitives specifically tailored for constrained environments and Multi-Party Computation (MPC) contexts.
I recently completed my PhD in the CAPSULE team at IRISA, France, under the supervision of Patrick Derbez. My doctoral research explored the art of cryptanalysis of symmetric primitives, with a primary focus on developing automated tools using MILP (Mixed-Integer Linear Programming) models and optimization techniques. You can find my thesis here.
In the lab, I solve for X; in the real world, I’m usually just looking for the next "Spot X" on a map. Whether I'm optimizing a lightweight primitive or a lightweight backpack, I’m always searching for the most efficient route to a new culture.
